Hamfest 2012

The park is located on the north side of Clear Lake. It has been updated lately with new pedestals with power for RV and campers to run your a/c units. There is no water or sewer hook ups at the sites but there is a dump station located near by (see picture below). The park has wifi available also. Check your list of available. It should be listed as "City Park Wifi".

Right as you coming into the park there is a swimming pool that has showers and bath rooms. There is a shelter for dinning and relaxing in. Next to the shelter is a play ground for kids to play on. Bring your family and make a weekend of it camping out. There is a motel in town if you would like to stay overnight but not camp out.

We offer VE testing to those who would like to get there license for first time and/or upgrade to next level. Please bring any SASEs you may have from previous testing and copy of your license. If you don't have a FRN number we will need your social security number for license form ( required by FCC ). Testing fee is around $15. Material needed from Arrl site.

Flea market is open to anyone with something to sell. Bring those items that have been sitting around for years and see what you can get for them. You may be suprise. Might be nice to just get rid of it and have more room for something else too. No pornography or indecent material will be allowed!

How to sessions are open to pubic that would like to teach others what they know. We are open to suggestions for things that you would like to see at next Hamfest. Please feel free to email us you ideas. We will try and put them in the sessions.

Groceries are available down town if you need something. Watertown is close by if you need something not available here.

We have small prizes giving a way throughout the day. With a grand prize given away at the end.
